DeKalb County pays you to save water!

If you live in DeKalb County and have considered replacing your old toilets to save water, DeKalb County will help pay the cost! The county will reimburse you $50 for a new 1.6 gallon flush toilet or $100. for a 1.28 gallon flush. You may be reimbursed for up to3 fixtures. Over time, as your water bill goes down, you will save even more.

You must submit a receipt showing you purchased the fixture since January 1, and your new fixture must be on a list of approved models. Furthermore, you must be replacing a pre-1993 toilet. ( That's the date that 1.6 gal fixtures were required in the code) Complete details are at http://www.dekalbwatershed.com.
