It is easy to captain a ship in still waters. But when the winds shift and the seas rise, some run for cover hoping to wait out the storm, while others grab the tiller and stay the course.
Such is the case with Lisa Macy, broker/owner of a leading national real estate franchise. Macy has been in the real estate industry for more than 35 years, long enough to know that success takes courage and stamina. It is with this in mind that she founded her real estate company in 1989, Residential Marketing Realty, and under her leadership the company has continued to thrive due to a recent transition to RE/MAX Regency in both Gwinnett and Forsyth Counties. This year, the firm celebrates over 30 years of serving the real estate industry and more than $1.5 billion in real estate transactions in metro Atlanta through resale, new home, rental, and foreclosure listings and sales.
Macy has worked in every aspect of the industry, representing sellers, buyers, builders, developers, investors, and banks, in both residential and commercial markets. She is family-oriented with a devotion to God, her wonderful husband of 45 years, and her daughter and son who have joined her in business. Lisa loves to travel and explore new places, but especially enjoys making a difference in the lives of those around her.
Her entrepreneurial spirit has brought her both rewards and challenges and provided her with immense learning opportunities. Her accomplishments include building and owning commercial properties and building over 140 single family homes in Gwinnett and Forsyth Counties. Lisa was named one of Atlanta’s Business Women of the Year and was listed in Gwinnett Magazine’s People to Know. She is also a member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and Atlanta Sales & Marketing Council.
